War brings energy security into focus, Southeast Asian countries pin hopes on new energy vehicles
To reduce oil demand and enhance energy security, some governments have introduced incentives for new energy vehicles. Although rising fuel prices may accelerate the adoption of new energy vehicles, the specific impact will vary depending on market conditions and the duration of the conflict. If oil prices remain high, the total cost of ownership advantage of new energy vehicles will become even more pronounced. However, the economic slowdown and supply chain disruptions triggered by this crisis may offset some of the positive effects.
