ETH, XRP, INJ, QNT and PUMP Price Analysis for October 23: Sellers Remain in Control
Ethereum, XRP, Injective, Quant, and Pump.fun faced selling pressure as prices moved lower. Pump.fun and Quant recorded notable declines, while technical indicators showed weakening momentum across several assets.
Let’s have a look at their latest price movements, important levels, and possible next moves.
• Ethereum Faces More Pressure as MACD Remains Bearish
Ethereum closed October 22 at $2,386.08, down 3.46%, after trading between $2,357.35 and $2,480.55.
The decline erased Wednesday’s gains, pushed the price below the October 21 low of $2,434.51, and returned ETH to the lower part of its recent trading range.
The daily MACD remained bearish, with the MACD line at -45.93 and the signal line at -36.31. The histogram widened to -9.61 from -9.01, showing that the gap between both lines had increased rather than moved toward a bullish crossover.
The four-hour MACD also remained weak. Its line stood at -6.11, against a signal line of 0.70, while the histogram was -6.81.
Although the short-term price recovered to $2,407.88, momentum has yet to confirm a reversal.
For buyers to regain control, $ETH needs to close above $2,434.51. A move beyond $2,480.55 could open the way toward $2,524.58.
On the downside, a close below $2,357.35 could expose $2,326.25 and the October 15 low of $2,313.42. Losing that low would weaken the developing base further.
ETH traded 1.43% below the $2,443.19 price recorded in our October 21 report.
• XRP Loses Support as Daily Volatility Increases
XRP closed Thursday at $1.30798, falling 4.13% after reaching a low of $1.29391. The decline pushed the price below the $1.32990 support level mentioned in Thursday’s report, wiping out much of Wednesday’s recovery from the October 18 low.
The 14-day Average True Range (ATR), calculated using Wilder smoothing, increased from $0.06348 to $0.06428.
This represents 4.91% of the latest closing price and points to a slight increase in typical daily price movement.
However, ATR measures volatility, not market direction, so its rise does not automatically mean further losses.
The latest completed four-hour candle recovered to $1.32033, while the four-hour ATR stood at $0.02132. The recovery remained below $1.32990, meaning the broken support has not yet been reclaimed.
A daily close above $1.32990 could improve the outlook, with $1.36865 and $1.39797 as the next levels to watch.
If $XRP falls below $1.29391, the next level is $1.25477. A close below the October 18 low would weaken the recovery and bring the September 16 low of $1.24610 into focus.
XRP’s latest completed daily close was 4.13% below the $1.36437 close analyzed in Thursday’s report.
• Injective Momentum Weakens as RSI Moves Closer to Neutral
Injective closed at $7.897, down 8.19%, after reaching a low of $7.846. This followed Wednesday’s close at $8.601 and brought the price closer to the $7.782–$7.846 support zone formed by the latest two swing lows.
The daily Relative Strength Index (RSI), calculated over 14 periods using Wilder smoothing, dropped to 50.38 from 58.66. Although it remains slightly above the neutral 50 level, the decline shows that buying momentum has weakened.
The four-hour RSI was lower at 46.52, indicating that short-term momentum had already moved below neutral.
Despite the 8.19% decline during Thursday’s session, Injective gained 0.72% over the past 24 hours. These figures cover different time periods, so they do not necessarily contradict each other.
A daily close above the $8.469–$8.642 range could improve the recovery outlook and bring $9.406–$9.490 into focus.
However, a close below $7.782 could expose $7.28, followed by the October 8 low of $6.413. A clear drop in RSI below 50 would support the bearish outlook, although price movement would still need to confirm it.
• Quant Slips Below Its Shorter-Term EMA
Quant closed October 22 at $187.09, down 8.59%, after trading between $185.50 and $208.78. The decline erased Wednesday’s move above $200 and brought the price closer to the October 18 low of $181.15.
The 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) fell to $203.51 from $205.24, while the 50-day EMA increased to $169.48 from $168.77. Quant ended the session between these two averages.
The 20-day EMA remains above the 50-day EMA, meaning a new bearish crossover has not occurred. However, the price has fallen below the shorter-term average, suggesting that near-term pressure has increased.
The four-hour chart also showed weakness. The latest completed candle closed at $189.32, below the 20-period EMA at $194.94 and the 50-period EMA at $200.88.
A daily close above the 20-day EMA could improve the outlook, with $208.78 and $213 as the next levels to watch.
On the downside, a close below $185.50 could expose $181.15. If that level fails, attention may shift toward the rising 50-day EMA, which will continue to change as new daily candles form.
• Pump.fun Struggles to Recover Within Its Bollinger Bands
Pump.fun closed at $0.004546, down 11.19%, after failing to maintain Wednesday’s recovery. The price reached $0.005203 before dropping to $0.004505, leaving resistance around $0.005119–$0.005218.
The daily Bollinger Bands, based on a 20-day simple moving average and two population standard deviations, showed a midpoint of $0.005255. The upper band stood at $0.006734, while the lower band was $0.003776.
$PUMP closed in the lower half of the bands but remained above the lower boundary. This shows that the price has weakened without yet reaching the lower band.
The latest completed four-hour candle recovered to $0.004646 but remained below the four-hour Bollinger midpoint of $0.004722.
As a result, the bounce has not confirmed a return to the upper half of the bands on either timeframe.
A daily close above $0.005119–$0.005218 could strengthen the recovery and bring the daily midpoint of $0.005255 into focus.
If the price closes below $0.004505, the next downside levels are $0.004153 and $0.003788.
A break below $0.003788 would weaken the recovery from the October low and bring the current lower band into focus.
Pump.fun traded 1.98% below the $0.0047416 price recorded in Wednesday’s report.
🚨 THE ULTIMATE MARKET BATTLE: 11 ASSETS, ONE BIG QUESTION — BREAKOUT OR REVERSAL?
BTC • ETH • SOL • XRP • XAUT • DOGE • ZEC • QNT • ALGO • WAL • NVDA • ELICE
The market can change direction when traders least expect it. Bitcoin can lead a rally, altcoins can amplify the move, gold-linked assets can respond to a different set of forces, and technology stocks can shift with broader risk sentiment. The real opportunity isn't predicting a guaranteed crash or breakout—it's recognizing which side is gaining control before committing capital.
Here are 11 assets worth watching as the next major move develops.
⚔️ THE MAJOR PLAYERS
1. BTC — Bitcoin: The Market's Compass
Bitcoin remains a key reference point for crypto sentiment. A decisive break below support, backed by strong selling volume, could pressure the wider market. But if BTC reclaims resistance and holds it, aggressive shorts could face a squeeze.
Watch: support breaks, resistance rejection and volume confirmation.
2. ETH — Ethereum: The Momentum Test
ETH can follow Bitcoin while also reacting to its own network activity and market positioning. Weakness against BTC could signal relative underperformance; a strong reclaim could signal renewed buying interest.
Watch: ETH/BTC strength, support and breakout follow-through.
3. SOL — Solana: High-Speed, High-Volatility
SOL can move sharply in either direction when momentum builds. A failed breakout may attract sellers, while strong volume above resistance could extend the rally.
Watch: failed breakouts, higher lows and volume shifts.
4. XRP — The Breakout Battleground
XRP can remain range-bound before making a sudden move. A clean break below support may open a bearish scenario; a sustained reclaim of resistance may invalidate it.
Watch: range boundaries and confirmation candles.
5. XAUT — Gold-Linked Exposure
XAUT is designed to track gold through a tokenized asset structure, so it can behave differently from speculative cryptocurrencies. Its direction may depend more on gold prices, interest-rate expectations and risk sentiment than on the crypto market alone.
Watch: gold's trend, spreads and token liquidity. Don't assume XAUT will fall simply because BTC falls.
🔥 THE ALTCOIN WATCHLIST
6. DOGE — The Sentiment Accelerator
DOGE can react quickly to crowd sentiment and sudden trading-volume spikes. A failed rally can reverse sharply, but momentum-driven buying can also overwhelm early shorts.
Watch: volume surges and failed resistance breaks.
7. ZEC — The Volatility Wildcard
ZEC can experience large moves when interest and liquidity concentrate around it. Avoid chasing an extended candle; wait for a defined setup with a clear invalidation point.
Watch: support retests and whether momentum persists.
8. QNT — The Structure Trade
QNT may offer cleaner opportunities when price respects well-defined support and resistance. A breakdown matters more when selling pressure confirms it rather than when price briefly dips below a level.
Watch: retests, market structure and liquidity.
9. ALGO — The Recovery-or-Rejection Test
ALGO can attract rebound traders after periods of weakness. A recovery becomes more credible when price reclaims resistance and holds it; otherwise, the move may be only a temporary bounce.
Watch: resistance reclaim and follow-through.
10. WAL — The Momentum Trap
WAL deserves particular caution when price moves rapidly. Thin liquidity or crowded positioning can produce sharp squeezes in both directions.
Watch: failed breakouts, spreads and sudden volume changes.
📊 11. NVDA — The Technology Market Signal
NVIDIA is an equity, not a cryptocurrency. Its price can respond to earnings expectations, AI demand, chip-sector sentiment and broader stock-market conditions. It may influence general risk appetite, but it does not reliably predict crypto's next move.
Watch: earnings news, major support and resistance, and the wider technology sector.
🚨 THE GAME PLAN: THREE POSSIBLE SCENARIOS
Scenario A — Risk-off pressure: BTC loses support and selling spreads across major crypto assets. Altcoins could face additional pressure, but each still needs its own confirmation.
Scenario B — Bullish continuation: BTC reclaims resistance and buying volume expands. Shorts entered too early could be forced to cover, driving a sharper rally.
Scenario C — Mixed market: BTC consolidates while individual assets move independently. In this environment, selective setups may be more useful than betting on one huge market-wide move.
⚔️ FINAL WORD
Eleven assets. Different drivers. One essential rule: never confuse a dramatic prediction with a confirmed trade.
Build a watchlist, mark key levels, wait for price confirmation, define your stop loss and size every position according to risk. Avoid loading up on correlated trades or using excessive leverage just because the market looks ready to explode.
The next major move could reward prepared traders—or punish those who enter too early.
Stay alert. Stay selective. Let the market prove the setup.
