$GRVT Bitcoin rose 1.3% to nearly $82,000 as of Friday Asian morning hours after buyers pounced on a brief drop below $80,000, with Asian chip stocks bouncing back from Thursday’s rout.
ZEC was the standout among the majors, jumping 8% to about $1,190. SOL, ether, XRP and TRX added about 1% apiece, and BNB went nowhere, according to CoinDesk data.
Bitcoin’s break below $80,000 lasted all of two hours. The slide on Thursday took it to about $79,800, cutting through the roughly $80,400 low that buyers had defended twice in the past week, and that’s where they showed up again. Bitcoin was back near $82,500 within two hours and held above $81,000 through Asian trading.
Stock traders bought the dip too. MSCI’s Asia Pacific equities gauge climbed 1.3%, with roughly three shares rising for every one that fell. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix both gained more than 2%, and South Korea’s Kospi jumped nearly 3% after closing at its lowest since April on Thursday.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing was the odd one out, slipping even after an upbeat outlook as worries over AI spending hung around.
Bonds handed back some of Thursday’s rush into safety. Treasuries fell across the curve, pushing the 10-year yield up a basis point to 5.07%. Traders now turn to Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh, who speaks at the IMF and World Bank meetings in Bangkok on Friday, two days after September inflation came in hotter than expected.
A push back above $84,000, where Wednesday’s post-inflation spike ran out of steam, would show this bounce has real buyers behind it.

$GRVT Aerodrome RSI Strengthens Below Recent Resistance
Aerodrome closed October 15 at $0.9365, up 4.09%, after recovering from $0.8300. The close remained below the $0.9413 session high and the October 10 high at $0.9599, leaving a nearby resistance zone intact.
$AERO/USD daily RSI (14) rises to 64.56 as price approaches $0.9413–$0.9599 resistance following a rebound from $0.8300.
The 14-day RSI, using Wilder smoothing, rose to 64.56 from 61.60. Momentum strengthened while remaining below the conventional 70 overbought threshold.
This supports the recovery but does not establish that resistance has been cleared.
The subsequent four-hour candle pulled back to $0.9205 at its close, with four-hour RSI at 55.89. CoinGecko’s $0.919539 quote likewise sat below the completed daily close, despite its positive rolling 24-hour performance.
A daily close above $0.9413–$0.9599 would strengthen the case for a test of the October 11 high at $0.9919.
The first support references are the recent $0.8997–$0.9043 closes, followed by $0.8530–$0.8568. Losing $0.8300 on a daily close would invalidate Thursday’s recovery and reopen the $0.7916–$0.7996 area.

Zcash Retests the Midpoint of Its Latest Decline
Zcash closed October 15 at $1,220.32, gaining 6.46% after touching $1,073.55. The recovery followed a decline from the October 12 swing high at $1,348.03.
$ZEC/USD daily Fibonacci levels track the recovery of the October 12–15 decline; the completed close reclaimed 50% before a four-hour pullback.
Fibonacci retracements measure an upward recovery of that specific $1,348.03-to-$1,073.55 downswing.
The 38.2% level is $1,178.40, the 50% midpoint is $1,210.79 and the 61.8% level is $1,243.18. Thursday’s daily close reclaimed the midpoint but ended below 61.8%.
The completed four-hour candle subsequently closed at $1,208.26, while the aggregate quote was $1,204.87. Both were back below the midpoint, making the initial recovery less secure.
This was a short-term loss of the reference level rather than a completed daily failure.
A daily close above $1,243.18–$1,251.86 would clear the 61.8% retracement and Thursday’s high, opening $1,284.78–$1,289.29, where the prior session high meets the 78.6% retracement.
A close below $1,178.40 would weaken the rebound toward $1,123.59 and $1,100.01. A new low below $1,073.55 would invalidate these recovery anchors and require the retracement to be recalculated.

$GRVT About $89.4 million flowed out of U.S. spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds in a single day. Ethereum products posted the largest outflows, while Zcash, Hyperliquid and Solana funds also saw net withdrawals. Bitcoin products recorded a modest net inflow.
Combined flows across U.S. spot ETFs tied to 15 assets showed a net outflow of about $89.4 million on Oct. 15, according to SoSoValue data. Ethereum ETFs alone posted $60.22 million in net outflows, weighing on the overall total.
Other altcoin products also saw money leave. Zcash (ZEC) ETFs posted $14.76 million in net outflows, while Hyperliquid and Solana recorded $10.28 million and $9.82 million, respectively. BNB, Polkadot and XRP products also logged smaller net outflows.
By contrast, Bitcoin ETFs drew $5.06 million in net inflows. Near Protocol and Chainlink products also attracted $1.13 million and about $12,000, respectively. Those inflows were not enough to offset outflows from other assets.
The divergence between Bitcoin and Ethereum also held over the past 30 days. Bitcoin ETFs posted $2.1 billion in net inflows, while Ethereum ETFs logged $360.05 million in net outflows.
Solana and XRP, despite their one-day outflows, maintained net inflow leads on a cumulative 30-day basis. Over that period, Solana ETFs drew $201.43 million and XRP ETFs attracted $90.58 million. BNB ETFs also recorded $98.61 million in net inflows, underscoring differences in investor demand across assets.

$GRVT TL;DR
Michael Nadeau sees Bitcoin potentially trading between $80,000 and $95,000 for months, while assigning a 90% probability that the market has entered an early bullish phase.
He identifies the 50-week moving average near $77,200 as a critical structural level and says sustained strength above $90,000 could revive expectations for $100,000.
Nadeau also expects selective altcoins to outperform, citing Hyperliquid, Zcash, NEAR Protocol and Lighter while anticipating eventual capital rotation later.
Michael Nadeau expects Bitcoin to remain largely range-bound between $80,000 and $95,000 for several months, even as he assigns a 90% probability to the market having entered an early bullish phase. In a discussion on The Defiant Report, the analyst compared the current setup with Bitcoin’s 2023 recovery, arguing the market may already be exiting its previous bearish phase. For investors tracking Bitcoin, his outlook favors consolidation before another major advance rather than an immediate breakout.
Bitcoin’s 50-Week Average Becomes the Key Test
Nadeau identified the 50-week moving average, currently near $77,200, as one of the most important levels for judging whether the bullish structure remains intact. He said the indicator could eventually bottom around $75,000, while Bitcoin itself may trade across a broader $78,000 to $92,000 consolidation zone. That puts renewed attention on the 50-week moving average as market participants assess trend confirmation. Holding key weekly levels remains central to Nadeau’s early-bull-market thesis, while price remains close to the moving-average zone he highlighted.
A sustained move above $90,000 could materially improve sentiment, according to Nadeau, and revive expectations that Bitcoin could reclaim $100,000. Until that happens, his framework leaves room for continued sideways trading rather than assuming that the recent recovery must immediately accelerate. The projected $80,000 to $95,000 range therefore represents a possible multi-month phase, not a guaranteed price path. Nadeau’s scenario depends on technical confirmation rather than treating higher prices as inevitable, leaving room for volatility inside the projected range.
The analyst also linked the market outlook to persistent inflation and broader macroeconomic uncertainty, factors he believes could delay the next major Bitcoin rally. That backdrop adds another variable to Bitcoin ETF flows and other signals investors are monitoring around institutional positioning. Nadeau nevertheless remains strongly inclined toward the view that the cycle has already shifted. His 90% confidence reflects a bullish structural assessment despite expectations for slower near-term price expansion.
Beyond Bitcoin, Nadeau expects fundamentally stronger altcoins to have room to outperform during this cycle. He cited Hyperliquid, Zcash, NEAR Protocol and Lighter among projects showing relative strength, while arguing that Bitcoin dominance near 60% could rise temporarily before capital rotates back toward altcoins. For BTC itself, the $80,000 technical threshold remains part of a broader consolidation debate. The core thesis combines an early Bitcoin bull market with selective opportunities elsewhere in crypto.
