Team formation steps
If you're a team captain

Go to the KCGI promotion page and click [ Become a captain].

Fill in your team information: enter your [ Team name], [ Team slogan], [ Avatar], and other details, then submit for review.

Set your team attributes:

Open team: any user can join freely

Closed team: requires a passkey; members must enter the passkey to join

Recruit members: share your [ team invitation poster or link] to recruit at least 10 members and complete your team formation.
If you're a team member

Go to the KCGI promotion page and click [ Join a team].

Choose a team to join:

Open team: search by [ team name] or [ captain's nickname], or filter by region to find your preferred team, then click [ Join team]

Closed team: you must [ enter the passkey] to join
Team formation notes

Team threshold: a team needs ≥ 10 members to complete formation and take part in the team competition

Region assignment: determined by the captain's KYC country/region

Adjustments before the competition starts: captains can remove members or disband the team, and members can leave at any time

Delayed team formation stage: teams that already have 10 or more members cannot leave or disband the team; teams with fewer than 10 members will be automatically and randomly assigned by the system to fully formed teams on the last day of delayed registration

Captain rewards (100,000 USDT):

| UEX pioneer award | 40,000 USDT | Awarded to the top 30 captains with the most members who have traded all 3 asset classes (crypto perps + TradFi perps + spot stock rToken) and who meet the valid member threshold |
Early bird bonus (200,000 USDT): the first 10,000 users who join a team between August 26, 2026, 12:00 AM and August 30, 2026, 11:59 PM (UTC+8), successfully complete team formation, and trade ≥ 30,000 USDT during the official competition will receive a 20 USDT trading bonus.
