Bitget Will Support the Story Protocol (IP) Ticker Change to Data Network (DATA)

Bitget will support the Story Protocol (IP) ticker change to Data Network (DATA).

 

Details are as follows:

 

• Deposits and Withdrawals 

• • Deposits and withdrawals will not be impacted. 

• Bitget will handle all technical requirements for users involved in this event.

• Ticker Change

• • IP will assume the ticker of DATA on Bitget. 

• Spot

• • Bitget will remove the existing IP spot trading pair (IP/USDT) on July 2, 2026, 08:00 AM (UTC).

  • Trading for DATA/USDT will open on July 2, 2026, 11:00 AM (UTC).

• Unified Account

• Bitget will delist the IP/USDT trading pair from the unified account (spot trading) on July 2, 2026, 08:00 AM (UTC).

• All unfilled spot orders for the pair will be automatically canceled.

• After the delisting, the above trading pair will no longer be available for spot trading under the unified account.

• After the delisting, IP token will no longer be supported for being transferred into the unified account. Any remaining assets of the IP token in the unified account will be automatically transferred to the classic account (spot trading).

• We strongly recommend that users manage any open orders related to the delisted pair and transfer relevant assets from the unified account to the funding account in advance to avoid potential losses.

• Spot Trading Bot

• • Bitget will delist the IP/USDT trading pair from Bitget spot trading bots on July 2, 2026, 08:00 AM (UTC).

  • After removal, the system will automatically cancel any pending orders and return the relevant assets to your account.

  • Users will be unable to create any new bots with the delisted trading pair.

  • Users will no longer be able to publish running bots with the delisted trading pair to the Recommended section of the bot copy trading page.

  • Bots with the delisted trading pair that are listed in the Recommended section of the bot copy trading page will be removed.

  • Users are strongly advised to terminate bots with the active trading pair to avoid any potential losses. Thank you for your support and understanding!

• Copy trading

• Bitget copy trading will remove the IP/USDT trading pair on July 2, 2026, 08:00 AM (UTC).

• After removal, the system will automatically cancel any pending orders and return the relevant assets to your account.

• Users will be unable to create any new positions with the delisted trading pair.

• Users are strongly advised to close positions with the active trading pair to avoid any potential losses. Thank you for your support and understanding!

• Spot Margin

• Bitget will remove the IP/USDT trading pair from spot margin and close trading on July 2, 2026, 03:00 AM (UTC).

• Suspension of transfer and borrowing services: Bitget has suspended the transfer and borrowing services for the relevant trading pair in spot margin trading.

• Positions will be closed and liquidated, and the trading feature will be unavailable: Bitget will automatically close the positions of users still holding positions in the relevant pair on July 2, 2026, 03:00 AM (UTC), cancel all pending orders in margin accounts for the pair, and liquidate any outstanding liabilities. Margin trading services for the pair will be disabled, and assets will be automatically transferred to the spot account.

• Users are strongly advised to close positions, cancel orders, repay loans, and transfer funds related to the relevant pair in advance to avoid potential losses.

• Convert

• Bitget Convert and "Convert small balance to BGB" will remove IP and the associated pair on June 26, 2026, 13:00 PM (UTC). DATA Convert will be available once DATA spot trading is open.
