Zhitong Finance APP has learned that on Thursday, oil stocks rose across the board: BP (BP.US) gained over 3%, while Petrobras (PBR.US), Occidental Petroleum (OXY.US), ConocoPhillips (COP.US), ExxonMobil (XOM.US), and Chevron (CVX.US) all rose more than 2%. International oil prices continued to climb, with WTI crude oil surging as much as 5% intraday to $92.72 per barrel.
In terms of news, on the 8th local time, Saudi Arabia once again launched airstrikes on a telecommunications facility in Yemen's Sana'a Province, the Hodeidah Airport in Hodeidah Province, and targets in Ibb Province. Earlier on the 8th, Yemen's Houthi forces claimed that they had once again attacked King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, and launched strikes against Yemeni government forces near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced on social media that a ballistic missile had "precisely hit" King Khalid International Airport, causing disruptions to airport flight operations.
