RxSight Q2 FY26 net loss widens 2.6% to $12.1 million; revenue rises 0.3% to $33.7 million
Reuters2026/08/05 21:24- RxSight posted Q2 revenue of $33.74 million, up 0.3% year over year, as a $6.5 million license fee offset weaker product sales.
- Operating loss narrowed to $13.77 million; net loss widened to $12.1 million, while product gross margin fell 3.7 percentage points to 71.2%.
- Product sales slid 19% to $27.24 million on lower LDD and LAL unit volumes, with LDD revenue dropping to $1.34 million from fewer placements.
- LDDs sold fell to 11 from 40, while LALs sold eased to 24,917; the installed base rose to 1,166 at quarter-end.
- RxSight named Aziz Mottiwala CEO effective July 20, added him to the board, and signed a collaboration with Alcon that generated the $6.5 million license revenue.
